Frequently Asked Questions

Ensuring streetlights come on each night is very important to the safety of the community and can help reduce crime. Street light outages are most commonly reported in the fall months, as the days get shorter and customers can see that a light is out on their way home from work.

When a customer report is called in to First Energy the utility line crews and troubleshooters are responsible for making streetlight repairs as quickly as possible - typically within 3 days.
